Rely on best endeavours of available personnel.
2Basic
  • Practice
Expect and accept a particular level of discontinued projects and recognize that this does not equate with failure.
    Outcome

    Outcomes
    • Relevant new technologies are spotted in a timely manner.
    • Where appropriate, such material is captured and tracked and may be the catalyst for new RDE projects.
    • Lessons learned are captured from all projects especially from those that are discontinued.
    Metrics
    • The number of new ideas or projects proposed by staff involved in RDE.
    • # of items of new lessons learned recorded in RDE knowledge repository compared to previous periods.
