    Before closing off the project, review contracts to validate that all contractual obligations (including financial ones) have been met.

    Carry out standard and systematic scope of work reviews and audit checks to ensure that all artefacts have been accepted by the project sponsors and customers.

  • Practice
    Ensure closure procedures for projects cover contracts; employee appraisal and employee releases from project duties; retrospectives and learning; project audits and report filing; product validations; acceptance criteria; and archival for administrative close-out.

    All project matters pertaining to staff and contractors are properly dealt with prior to project administrative closure (e.g. bonus payment approvals, overtime approvals, holiday entitlements, and so forth).
