E3Data Cleansing: Detect and correct/remove corrupt or inaccurate data.
E4Data Processing: Use available analytical algorithms and statistical methods to process data.
E5Interpretation: Use filters and review checkpoints to manage the reduction and elimination of bias (e.g. linear bias, confirmative bias, confidence bias).
E6Results Presentation and Reporting: Develop reports that deliver the message to the intended audience and that are tailored to the communications channel in use.
E7Embedding Application-Specific Analytics: Make use of canned or bundled data analytics by developing trust with equipment suppliers who have embedded domain-specific analytics in their equipment.
E8Capacity and Variety Management: Develop the data analytics capability so that it can scale up or down (by volume of work, or the complexity and variety of the types of data addressed in assigned tasks) in order to match the needs of the business.
